Wolfpen ATV Campground & Cabins, Inc.

If you know where to look, you can find campgrounds that are located directly on top of off-road riding trails. The area’s first and largest campground Wolfpen ATV Campground & Cabins is just a quick ride to the trailhead from where you’ll be camping. They offer cabins, cottages, and RV hookups, so you can choose the camping option that’s right for you. Bring along your powersports vehicle and enjoy a weekend in one of the state’s most iconic riding areas. You’ll also be in the heart of the Ouachita National Forest, so you can enjoy hiking, biking, fishing, and other great outdoor activities for an unforgettable weekend.

Cove Lake Recreation Area - Schluterman ATV Tours

There are actually a number of places you can camp in the area but we recommend Cove Lake Recreation Area. You’ll find full facilities, as well as a boat launching ramp and hunting opportunities. Just down the road, you’ll find the Schluterman’s ATV Tour & Guide Service, a kid-friendly, family fun opportunity to go riding in this stunning area. Some people prefer having some direction when they ride and find it more fun to join someone who knows the area. If you’re more of a solo rider, you can drive a little ways further to Mount Magazine State Park, where you can also find riding trails.

Byrd’s Adventure Center

In the heart of the Ozarks, you’ll find Byrd’s Adventure Center, an all-inclusive family fun outdoor getaway that all sorts of enthusiasts and adventurers are going to love. There are a multitude of camping options, including full RV hookups, rental cabins, and tent sites. You’ll also have access to an extensive trail network designed for a wide array of skill sets. The park also offers many other outdoor activity opportunities, like kayaking, rafting, canoeing, hiking, biking, and there’s even an airstrip if you’re a pilot or looking to become one.

On top of that, you’ll also be near the Ozark Highlands Trail, which spans nearly 270 miles of the mountain range, and the park also hosts a number of events throughout the year, so there’s no shortage of things to do when you spend your weekend here.

Bear Creek Lake - Bear Creek Cycle Trail

On the other side of the state, you can stay near Bear Creek Lake at one of the many camping locations. Here, you’ll be able to enjoy all the best parts of camping outdoors in an exquisite example of everything that makes Arkansas beautiful. You’ll also be surrounded by OHV trails that will be just a quick ride away. There’s the Bear Creek Cycle Trail, starting in Daisy State Park and traveling 31 miles through rocky areas and stunning forests. You can also travel to the St. Francis National Forest where you’ll find over a hundred miles of off-roading trails. There’s so much to do that you may not feel like you have the time to do it all.
